    Yea. Just don't want to give you the wrong answer. I know you can run 100 watts driving and 400 watts idiling.

    Thought I would show my new plug ins I installed today. They are working great! Thought I would like them better inside the console, that way I don't have the cords hanging down by my kids feet. ( another reason is I didn't want to cut holes on the outside of the console in case I messed up, easier to hide mistakes in console)

    That looks good and a good idea. I seen newer cars with outlets and cig lighters in the center console.

    You can do the 400w anytime mod .its easier then adding plugs. You can put as many plugs as you need but at 120v you can only run a little over 3 amps total. The math is amps x volts = watts. Or p=i*e

    I'm wondering if all the trucks pre-wired the same? I don't have a 100W/400W switch on my console. I'm wondering what people have done that are in my situation. What two wire are for the on/off switch on the console.

    Oh ok. Idk if the trucks are pre-wired for that. Only way to see is take your console apart. Should take less than 5 mins. I've seen people buy power inverters and install it under their driver seat. You can go that route. Maybe even get a bigger one so you can have over 400 watts available.
