Not heavy at all. Although it's thin metal. A heavier duty toolbox would weigh more

 

Have any seals against weather? Or how'd it do with weather you got yesterday

The first day I had it was that first time my truck got hailed on, and then yesterday we had that bad storm too. Neither time had any water inside. Now that might change with the light I just put on but I'm gonna try to silicone it so it stays good and sealed.

 

Also, if you get a kobalt, they're gonna try to sell you the same install kit they sold me. Don't buy it. It'll work with some modifications but j hooks are cheaper and easier

 

Ohh yeah, was wondering how it was held on, bed rails?

And yes, pull light off, silicone or silicone glue the back and put on then silicone around the light if you can

 

No, mine I modified the mounts to go under the bed rails kinda. I still might return them and just use J hooks because fuck spending $25 on mounts that don't work right.

And the light is held on with two screws so I'll probably just silicone the inside all around the screw. I don't plan on taking the light off unless it's to upgrade to LED.

It's like a bolt, but instead of it being straight the head side would have a "J" looking thing on it that slips under the bed sides and then you tighten the nut on top and it pulls the box down tight.
