Been there done that, I raced District 38 Hare scrambles, had my share of surgeries, you should be back on the bike in about 8 weeks or so...

Be sure to do all the rehab stuff and start stretching as soon as you can, this is key to full recovery, your knee may work even better than before actually, mine did.

    Thanks!

its going to be so hard cause racing my bike is in my blood, always has been and always will be. i have other interests though like riding my mountain bike and want to get a road bicycle to ride too. im going to try and turn my focus towards that for now anyway, i feel it will be a little easier and more health for my knees. so i will be back in the dirt, just on a mountain bike :)

good luck, had a new ACL this past apirl. Was in PT 5 days after, doing short rides on my motorcycle 3 weeks later. Just don't push the recovery, if you over do it, it will just set you back.

Advise: DO YOUR AT HOME EXERCISES NOW! You'll be glad in the long run.

its doin as good as it can be i guess. had my fallow up with the doc yesterday and he explained to me again that i have no cartilage on the outside of my knee and if i injure it again that its not going to be good. possibly a knee replacement! so i made up my mind that i am officially retired from racing motocross :(. also had my first therapy session yesterday, nothing too exciting, just some more "fun" excersizes to do .
