I know GoPro keeps their prices fixed at all merchants, so where did you buy yours and why? I am ready to pull the trigger on the New Black.

I got mine.(the 1st hero they made back in ’09 ) at cycle gear, not many places around here sold them back than. I’d find a close local ski shop or motorcycle shop to by from. but thats me i like supporting those guys for that stuff over wal mart or anyone els.

Cabela's had a special when I bought mine. I still had to pay the $300 for the Silver 3+, but they were giving a $75 Cabela's gift card with purchase.

Bought my Hero 3+ Black a couple of weeks ago from B&H Photo Online. Same price as retail but free shipping and no taxes for me here in TX so I saved a little. I also bought my sandisk extreme 64 GB card from them which gopro recommends for $50 (on sale) and an SP Gadgets 39" Pole with remote holder built into the handle there as well.

I should of bought it. You are probably sitting pretty well on it, since it has been doing nothing but rising these past few days.
