Extra Weight in bed - Need Suspension Advice

    Howdy All,

    I have a 2011 Toyota Tacoma Access Cab 2.4L 4x4.

    I added a bunch of weight in the bed with the following:

    Leer topper (Leer Model 180 - I'm guessing weight is around 210 LBS)
    Roof Rack
    Roof top carrier box
    Second battery (Optima Deep Cycle Wight 39 LBS)
    Sleeping area and storage drawers made from 3/4" plywood. (Not sure about the weight on this; just guessing maybe 100-175 LBS)
    Gear
    Water

    Now my leaf springs are drooping (I have had the TSB performed) due to the extra weight. What would you recommend to fix this? I was considering dropping the leaf springs and replacing them; any advice on springs?

    Thanks for the help!

    Note: I have some super Springs laying around that were removed when the TSB was performed. Do you think these could be used with the post TSB springs? (they also rubbed on the brake line which was part of why they were removed)

    mostly stock, grocery gettin' Prius
    If you want lift (2.75"/3" - 4" UNLOADED depending on which option you pick below):

    (I would suggest getting the additional D29XL leaf to add to the pack) OR

    (I would suggest the expos) OR

    If you want minimal lift (1.5" UNLOADED; remove TSB before installing; unless someone else says otherwise to leave it in in addition to the kit below)

    I'd go with airbags if you don't want lift.

    If you want to lift everything APEX leafs or Dakars + the
    $82 d29xl leaf spring
    d29xl AAL.

    Did you use the Nitrocharger Shocks as well? How's the ride quality? I'm cautious about going up too far because I don't want to make my tires look small (245/75 R16 Hankook Dynapro ATM's)

    Yes , stiffer than stock but handles weight great
