What resonator did you decide on?

nothing as of now.. this shop is giving me the run around. I wont be able to take it in until Saturday now.. and even then, they said they cant get a resonator in there.. even tho they told me this morning they will do what they can and get it in. not happy at the moment.

ok, so this shop is a bunch of fucktards..

they tell me this morning they can add the resonator in.. they will do whats needed to make it fit. then, after my parents drive an hour to get it there (im at work) they say they cant.. and I will have to bring it in saturday. they also said the resonator will do nothing as the Aero is a "straight through" design and isnt really a muffler. this was all told to me from my stepdad who was there talking to them.. so it was a mess from the start.

so, since i have time.. i can plan this out a little better.

    Vibrant ultra quiet resonator?
possible high flow cats in the Y?
im even thinking of going back down to 2.5", still adding the resonator after the Y.

I need to have this done by this weekend. as of now.. its far too loud.. i cant even drive it because my hours i work.. i will most likely get noise complaints and a fix it ticket.

thats what i have homie.

have 3 days to figure out what i want to do. seriously contemplating going back down to 2.5" with another 2525xl, adding a vibrant ultra quiet, and going from there. my next step would be high flow cats in the Y.

reasoning for going back to 2.5" and adding Cats is to gain my low end back. pretty significant loss in low end.. dont like it.

theres just no restriction.. at all. lol the Aero is a straighht through design too. I definitely want to tame it some.. i know that it will be moderate.. but it needs something. I also want to gain my low end back.. the top end is nice and all.. once it gets movin.. its movin! but take offs are slow and sluggish now.. and my main thing is low end power.

im really thinking this may be what i end up doing:

ditch the 3" piping.. stick to the the 2.25 or 2.5 that they used for the y pipe.. add the Vibrant ultra quiet, then another 2525xl.

if thats not enough.. ill add some high flow cats to the Y.. or.. should i just have them throw them on at the same time as the above.. or just throw on the factory cats in the Y.

Well, I mean I even noticed a loss in low end putting the DTLT's on removing the front cats... so I can't even imagine removing the other two lol. Once it wraps up though you can notice a diffrence.

yeah.. so thats why im thinking of adding either high flows (or not) or my factory ones back into the Y.. then ditch the 3" and do the same piping as the rest with a resonator and the 2525xl

but yeah.. when it gets goin now.. it cooks. but i miss my low end terribly

    ignore my crude drawing... lol

I told them i wanted 2.25" piping for everything else except after the collector, but i swear it looks larger than the factory flanges they used for the headers.. thats why it between 2.25"-2.5"

I kinda want an aeroturbine. I put my muffler back on and it drones like hell at 2.5k RPMs.

my aero drones. but only one cat and no resinator. i expected it. but i love the sound and was cheaper than all the other "systems"

i went through 2 exhaust systems haah. i go through a lot of things after thinking about it.
on my third set of fiberglass front fenders ha

I would have both cats and a resonator. My CEL comes on if I take out the second cat):
