I used to get free transfers there and then new ownership tried charging me $75 to transfer three lowers on the same ticket. That was the last time I used them for a transfer. Then we had some some other issues w/trying to price match a suppressor and the last straw was trying to use them for an NFA transfer. Forget those ass clowns. I've done just fine spending all my money elsewhere and even have saved money. I was on a first name basis with every employee there and the fact that the new owner decided to piss away all existing relationships for what he thought was a better bottom line is a sad indication of the new guard there.

BTW, I have several FFLs that I use locally and they're as cheap as $10 (plus the $10 CBI) and $20 plus it's individuals that do them out of their home so you don't have to deal with the BS that comes with gun shops. I used to pay more to keep my business local but after they all ran me off I now buy my shit cheaper online and then use FFLs for transfers. I should be thanking them for saving me so much money over the years now but I'm still pissed I can't walk into a shop to talk guns and buy guns I didn't even know I needed even if it was at an inflated cost. Whatever. I'll leave that to other suckers now since I buy from the cheapest source and don't give a shit about loyalty since they clearly don't. Cheaper means more guns and ammo for me.

Even the glock days for me are a joke. They talk about how hard blue label glocks are to come by and could never get me one.... I called my buddy who's an FFL and he said he could order any model at any time for the deal. Not a big deal any more I got one and thought it was garbage and sold it anyway. Sorry you got screwed over.. My .300 short I bought from them no one could touch their price. I was able to wheel and deal in there just fine and leave happy.

    Lmao see.
If you pay over $20 for transfers your being a sucker.

Not when it was reported 2x in minutes

I'm a very fair mod...I / we give more warnings then bans (discretion) hell, u HAVE to earn a ban...we prefer to be hands off...but these types of threads always turn into shit storms and people get butthurt syndrome from the interwebz.

It shouldn't be. Without turning this political I will say that ureview.com is really stretching on this one. If you think this some how poses a serious threat to our safety I'd like to introduce you to our Air Force.

If you're trying to sneak liquor into a movie theater do you bring a full keg... or eleven?

This isn't a concern. The fact that we know about it makes it even less of a concern. The threat is the one you and I don't know about. This is just an outlet trying to create a name for themselves but pumping out sensationalism journalism and it's working because I keep seeing this link posted all over.

There, not political at all.

If you're dead set on that I'd search around online. A word of warning though Remington QC has really taken a hit the last few years so I don't know that I would buy anything new Remington right now, especially the 700 series. Either way by the time you factor in tax you can usually find most things online cheaper if you put in about the time it takes to drive down to a local store and stand around waiting for help to do some research. Sometimes it's a lot, sometimes it's not. But for me I'd rather buy online and cut out the local poop sticks from my buying experience.

I have a few older Remington long guns. But as ost said they have been declining. Just buy the higher end stuff to cover your butt. I'm a fan of savage hunting rifles. Even the entry level stuff performs great. Then you can go up from there with the accu trigger which is amazing, accu stocks, ect. Now my Remington shot gun I love and love the brand for bird guns.
