muffler size?

    word of mouth says the stock tacoma muffler is 2.5, but would a 3"00 flowmaster super 44 fit in there nice and easy? sorry for the stupid question im new to this stuff,, just looking for a more aggressive truck sound

    Toy-Tec Kit, Tool box fit to bed, Dipped badges, cab lights, running boards, Flowmaster exhaust
    Should be just fine. I have a 3" flowmaster in there with no issues. Muffler size is the same. the only thing changing is piping

    3" toytec lift, 285/70/17 trail grapplers, 17" ballistic offroad, flowmaster 40 delta flow, TRD CAI, debadged, pioneer touch screen, 2 kicker 10" on 1100 watt hifonics, 30" light bar, 15% tint front 20% tint back, interior LED's, all bulbs changed to LED's, LED pod reverse lights
    I just put the delta 40 in mine and it was $200 parts and labor 2.5" though
