Anybody interested in buying a 18'' HBAR? caliber is supposed to be 223 wylde (According to the people I bought the upper from) but is marked 556 nato.
It is not chrome lined, and has 1-8 twist, and a mid length gas system.
I will not include a gas block as I believe that this is the source of my rifle not cycling correctly when hot (Alum. GB expands at a different rate than the steel barrel, cause leakage) but i do have a new GB on it's way so i can see if it is indeed the issue.

Make me an offer, or I am willing to trade for a 16'' m4 profile barrel.

here's a pic of the complete upper.

Received my PSA upper today. Looks really nice in person. Need rear sight, BCG, and CH and then I can slap it on my lower and rock and roll. The barrel is MPI before the coating is applied.

Thanks! I'm getting the Magpul MOE hand guard for it in OD Green and the matching MOE stock.
I'll check it out. Thanks for the heads up!

I was thinking about a sledge hammer on it, I like slow moving sledge hammers.

or possibly the hammer of thor from mythology (not the one from the movie/comic)

That sounds expensive, make sure you post pics.

Got my order from ironworks in today, I need to set up a vise so I can take the muzzle device off of my current upper to try the new gas block on, if the new gas block doesn't fix my issues I'm not sure what else to try.

Got the muzzle device off without a vise, weighed both gas blocks and the new one is a little smaller but a good bit heavier.

Is there any good reason not to put a rifle length hand guard on a mid-lenght gas system?
Looking at this rail for my 6.8 and my choices from brownells are carbine or rifle length, rifle length from brownells is close to the cost of a middy from YHM.

I bought a mid-length hand guard on my carbine gas system. Just make sure the guard clears your gas block other than that it's personal preference. I actually almost went with rifle length for mine but thought it might be a little too long and look out of place.
