My son is taking photography in high school and needs something to take photos, as the ones from school are usually loaned out or returned broken.     Canon Powershot's are good if you are looking for a mid $100 priced camera. If you are looking for an entry level pro camera, Canon Ti Rebel's are great camera's.

    The engineering group had a team building event there several months ago. It was fun.

    For cameras I have a Canon S5iS and my diving camera is a Canon G9. I actually prefer using the G9 over the S5iS. It takes INCREDIBLE photos!
