Learn about colonial times....watch Orioles Baseball, Ravens Football, hunt, fish, trap, hike, bike, go to some good colleges and universities, ....if you want to wheel...its private land or go out of state (PA, VA, WV)....fuck, i don't know. What kind of answer are you looking for?

Only other state i have lived in was FL, and it was more hot and humid than Maryland :puke:

Maryland is my home, its where i've spent most of my life....i know no area on this planet any better but i feel like my government wants to make me a criminal because of my hunting and shooting sports so i am WV, VA, or PA bound within the next 3-10 years :|

School offers buy back, but I am finding sites that rent.

I understand the essentials of books, but I don't plan to pay $100 for a book and try to resell it afterwards when I can rent it for $15/semester.

Am, my issue is ISBN does not match anything, anywhere. Not even on the Library of Congress website. I am guessing I will get fucked in the ass regardless.

    woot!

Like the others have already said, it sounds like an e-book that goes along with it or it's possibly a lab thing. Some are nice because they'll provide you with practice tests/exams/review questions. I prefer the e-books because I can use the search features to find certain things rather than having to check the index. Some teachers actually used them as a required part of the class to do assignments with or things within the program to turn in.

If they are anything like my school, normally the first day they had out a syllabus and it says/they explain book stuff on them. A lot of times it was "well I know the syllabus says the book is required, but not really, it's just a reference).

But it's totally fine for you to email a professor and ask.

Gayyyyy. Move to Texas everything is bigger over here anyways. Plus if ISIS invades you can help the resistance. #tinfoilmoment
Nope, they're there to help. Have you started that class yet or what? Usually the professor tells you what you'll need but can't force you to buy a book. They do help with studying and homework though, it's better to have it. If you don't need it sell it. You'll get money back. I used to get my textbooks before the semester began according to what the student library told me what id need but now I've been waiting the first day of class or so to see what we'll be using in class.
