I thought that may be the case for some pistols. Some of the 1911's we had over in Iraq didn't have safeties. My 1911 has one but it only clicks on if the hammer is cocked.

 

I have been around guns a very long time. They do not go off on their own. Something pulled the trigger. Might have been unholstered in his pocket with keys or something that hit the trigger. There are some firearms that fire when dropped, but that's irrelevant. Either way, it surprises me that this hasn't made national news. The gun banners would love this story.

 

Yeah I'm well aware they just don't go off on their own and I sure hope it doesn't make national news! I was actually right by that building when the shot went off (though I had no idea at the time; never heard it). Idaho just passed the law allows you to carry on campuses earlier this year and it went into effect in July so this is essentially the 1st semester it has been around and we have an incident in the 2nd week

And yea I was going to change them this summer when I did a full front suspension work over. But never got parts I waiting on and boom.

Oh well. All worked out

 

Yeah steering rack. I made mark take the other one I had for a spare. I still have some spare IFS stuff floating around like factory spindles and what not.

Interesting segway into the tire sale. Might have worked on the Ford dealer I was talking to had he started with a gun story....just sayin.

 

BTW, howdy fellas. I just thought I would let you know. You will more than likely be seeing me around a bit over the next year, and permanently after that. I got a job with an outfit in Meridian, they needed a guy to run a project in ND, after that, Idaho is my new home

 

I expect a keg of your finest, sitting in a secluded valley only accessible by a goat trail, with a roaring fire to welcome me. I will be driving though THIS Sunday to drop my rig off at my uncles in Baker City for the winter. I dont want here getting thrashed her in the Bakken oil country. I'll beat up the company truck.
