Have Bilstein 5100 set to max with 1/4" top spacers. AAL in the back. Light Racing UCAs. Truck has about 6700 miles and the lift has been on about half of that. Since then I've had three places align my rig with satisfactory results. But roughly 2 weeks later it starts to handle worse and worse. Most recently I've had a really good local alignment shop whose been in business over 40 years align my car 3 times now (only one for which I paid) and every time they've nailed it. Drives perfectly, nice and tight and crisp...for about 2 weeks and then it slowly feels like it's working it's way back to a sloppy ride. The steering feels like it has loosened up and the truck seems to more sensitive to small bumps in the road. FWIW I've been bent set on having the camber set at 0 and the toe is 1/16th in. After about 2 weeks I SWEAR my camber becomes more positive..which seems to be almost impossible unless something is worn....which also seems impossible given how new the rig is. :notsure:

I'm willing to do just about whatever it takes to make sure this is a non issue in the future. I've even debated going to a different lift (ie RCD 4.5" lift) even though I'm pretty happy with the 3" lift.. I'd rather put the $2k into other mods though. Any ideas? Is this inherent with the 3" lift? Should I just be living with it? Haha. Kinda hard to swallow with over $34k into the thing.

What torque value are they tightening the top nut too ?

By top nut I assume you mean the UCA top nut? If so I don't think they adjusted that. I was told that if they could get it from the LCA they wouldn't need to. Although I wouldn't mind if they did adjust it. Right now that nut is in the "out" position.

On a side note, one worry I have with this lift is the overall stiffness of the ride which, to me, seems problematic in encountering every day bumps and poorly maintained roads that I have to go over every day. The jarring seems like it could over time knock things loose and cause problems. In fact I recently had the tire place recheck the balance on my wheels about 1000 miles after putting new tires on and they mentioned a balancing weight had come off. Could have been anything but it seems like probably unnecessarily excessive jarring caused it to come off. Could it have done something else? Who knows..

Still needs to be torqued to 150 ftlbs

I also have the Bilstein 5100 and in no way would I characterize the ride as harsh. Actually, I call it on the soft side. Check your tire pressures. Set all four to 33 lbs.
