The 4x4 MPG difference isn't nearly enough to sway me into a Cheby.

 

as far as mpg goes, there's no significant change compared to Tacomas.

 

Wow, looks like the 4x4 MPG is way lower than what people thought it might be.

That first article is saying that the 4x4 trucks will only get 17 City /24 Highway / 20 mpg Combined.

 

Just seeing a Chevy bowtie logo makes my skin crawl. They make some boring/generic/plastic vehicles. They just don't understand design and subtleties overall.

The new Suburban/Yukon XL is about the only thing I have seen in a long time that I would actually drive. Decent job of modern and retro styling. My '97 Blazer was so-so with too many little repairs for a new vehicle in 3 years of ownership.

Almost $3K for 18" bling wheels over the already included 17" wheels in the Z71 package! I didn't see a sliding rear window option either.

 

yeah no, i will never own a chevy ever again.... my 2500hd was an utter pos.

I must say the Colorado's rear backup camera angle is pretty awesome.

 

Looks like the manual is only available on the 2WD Extended Cab in the Base and WT trim.

 

Not really. I'm not loyal to any brand. I buy what fits my needs. If (insert brand here) made the Tacoma I'd still buy it. Toyota is no better or worse than anything out there today.

 

For fun I thought I'd build a 2015 Colorado and I was disappointed in the lack of options. I like that Toyota allows you to get a 4x4 base model. The Tacoma does not seem to be anymore expensive than the Colorado. I'm sad to see the Regular Cabs go. :

 

Yeah but the Tacoma will still be worth 85% of its value in 5 years, while the Chevy 1/2 or less lol. Been through a couple GM trucks, so I'm well aware of this. Yes life is not about re-sale value, but if I have the option I'm getting the vehicle that yields the least financial burn over say 5-7 years.

 

Nope nope nope even though it's interior is way nicer it seems they want to nickel and dime the options also.

 

Not saying one is better than the other, but just referencing this part, you do realize Toyota has more plastic than any other truck, and hasn't really changed in 10 years..... Just saying that at least THAT part of your argument is not really valid.
