Hmm, would this be very expensive to ship because of its unusual size and shape? I'm interested but don't want to pay a lot for shipping.

Yea, I'll see if I can make a trip down to So-Cal, but if not I'm sure there will be another person interested in this.

Nice hood... I don't think that it will be that much for shipping (weight wise). Good luck on the sale.

I think that it will look pretty good on the color combo that your Taco has - IMO.

One HUGE word of advice to who ever buys this. BUY HOOD PINS. These vis carbon fiber hoods are very popular on a lot of other import cars. They are notorious for the latch breaking free from the carbon fiber and the hood flying up. To the other poster who commented on the strength of carbon fiber. These arn't "real" carbon fiber in the sense that you think of real carbon fiber. These are made out of fiber glass with a single layer of carbon fiber on the top for looks. Real carbon fiber like used on race cars and bikes every layer is carbon fiber and are very very strong. These arnt much stronger than ordinary fiberglass hoods. Real multi-layer carbon fiber hood would cost a hell of a lot more.

Not trying to debate or anything (PreRunnerSeth). I beleive that part of what you are saying is true, but I also believe that based on the vehicle that this hood is meant for (Taco) will not be more than highway speed??? IMHO... I think would be fine for normal driving. My .02
