I sold my 07 tacoma today and bought a 08 trundra double cab. I needed a truck that could tow a 9000 lb trailer to the corvette car shows and there was just no way the tacoma could do that. If they had a tacoma with a v8, or a diesel engine with the towing capacity that I needed, then I would definitely have bought that instead. What it really boiled down to was either get rid of the tacoma or the fj crusier. The tacoma was previously damaged last dec and never really recovered body wise from that incident, so the choice was obvious. The cruiser is now my daily driver and the trundra will be the work truck.

I really enjoyed this toyota forum, and its the best, friendliest, and most informative on the internet as far as I am concerned.

You all take care, and happy 4 wheelin to everyone

    Bill (sunruner19)

Don't leave the site just because you sold the taco. I sold mine too, but I like this site way too much.

Sorry for the delay, been traveling across the country enjoying my retirement.
This is the pic of the 72 sting ray fully restored 454 ci. I have sold it since, and bought a 93 40th anniv ruby vette conv 6sp with 22,000 orig miles, and a 2002 red corvette 6speed.

This is a pic of the two corvettes at my home. I gave the 93 ruby to my son to enjoy for the summer before it comes back here for winter storage. I drive the red one around the lake and on long trips. Its fast, but not as fast as my Tundra which can beat its ass any day of the week.

With all apologies to Mastercard, which I dont carry, lol!
    Buying a Tundra 31,000
    Installing a supercharger, 6,800
Leaving a NYS Trooper in the dust...............fricken priceless

footnote: The trooper was curious how fast the Tundra was. It was not a high speed chase. He is my neighbor, and that is priceless too, lol!

Damn, it feels good to post in here again.........

Stick around man. An FJ and a Tundra with a 5.7 . You're practically my hero.

I was driving a D/C new Tundra with the 4.7 for awhile and loved it. I envy you man.
