Hey guys, a good friend of mine is missing. He was last seen on I-90 hitch hiking from the Gorge from a concert this weekend.Rumor had it he may have been headed away from Montana and towards Washington. If any of you guys are driving that area and have seen or heard anything can you please call 406-498-0959, 406-498-3764, or 911. And feel free to share this on any local pages on FB or forums in your areas between Montana and Washington. Thanks guys.

That sounds pretty nice. Its hard to find large areas on this side of the state that are devoid of roads. Just to damn many people and the timber industry is so highly developed there is road access to everything...assuming you have the right set of keys haha. I may need to get some coordinates...

Found the elk a couple miles from our place this evening. The 7x7 is still there. Time to start knocking on doors and figuring out who owns that field and forest behind it. Makes me a little nervous to see them there. That field is way greener than that stuff and the cover is excellent. Hopefully someone will spook them out of there.

Doing Forestry at Oregon State! One more full time term and a part time term and I'm finally done! The gf just started grad school though haha.

I go there too. I have a couple more years and then I'll be done. I'm in the CE program.

What does your truck look like? I've probably seen it in Corvo. Here's mine, but it was stock all last school year. I was up there last weekend though.af5c5a2f53b9134e8e3003dc20b0274b_f1db7a19b758d894dc34b11b2ea309051ab497dc.jpg

Does anyone here "also" have an F150 in the family??

    I'm looking at getting a 2009-2013.
CrewCab, 3.5L twin turbo, 4x4, tow package.

Looking to get some more insight.

3.5 twin turbo and tow package...seems to me like it won't have the power to it to pull much unless it is wound up with turbo blowing. Just get it with the raptor engine, which is something like 450 hp.

    Sorry to dissapoint,
But the 3.5L V6 produces better results than others that compete in it's class.

    365 hp & 420 tq

let alone far better gas mileage.

Raptor is hella expensive, and barely outperforms in torque. lol

    Raptor 6.2L V8 has:
    411 hp & 434 tq

Those are peak numbers. How about usable power range for daily driving? The 6.2 v8 will have a more usable torque band than the 3.5 v6.

How about motor maintenance? A guy I used to work for researched motors for ford before he got his truck and found the 6.2 to be lowest in maintenance/repair needs. He ended up with a 1 ton dually with a custom box on the back with lockable weatherproof cabinets on both sides and locking back door, fully boxed, and even loaded down with extra materials and pulling a trailer, that truck would still get up and move well.

Anybody in this thread live near Longview, Kelso, Castle Rock, or the surrounding area? Man, got to watching some of those videos of the PNW TW meets and trail rides, makes me want to move back to WA so bad! Sadly didn't get into offroad really until I had joined the AF. And the shit in jersey ain't like the shit out west.
