I have the California look on my truck cuz it limits the rubbing with my 285's.

I get 15.6 miles to the gallon. well that's according to my ultra gauge.

I've been thinking the exact same thing and I don't even have 2000 miles on these bad boys yet! I can't imagine going up to 315's though. Maybe if I was running 18" rims and changed my whole set up. But as it stands I really test out my height to see what parking structures I can fit in. Just this week I was in Waikiki and made it into twostructures listed at 6'2 clearance.

    My 285 duratracs are D's :D and they're lighter than my 265 E's that I had.

    Too long to list :D
Guys! I just realized I may have come off wrong on the psyc test.. One of the questions said something to the effect of "I am fascinated by fire". I answered true because fire is a fascinating phenomenon in science. It is not what is causing something to burn, but the byproduct of something burning. It doesn't actually touch what is burning. And it is like the wind; you can see it (most times), you can feel it, you can hear it, you can measure it, but you cannot catch it in a jar. Very interesting to a scientific mind like mine.. But now I'm wondering if they meant it in a pyro kind of way... :comfused:

I absolutely love my 285's. They look amazing for a mid-sized truck, and the added width helps a lot in the sand. But looks aside, I don't know if they are worth the mpg and performance losses combined with the added price. Especially since most of us drive off road less than .01% of our total mileage.

I would be perfectly happy with 285's again, but I kinda miss the extra grippy brakes, and quicker throttle response with 265's.. Chris said the 255's drove better than the 265's. He said the acceleration and mpg were like stock. And after riding in his truck a few times, I'm inclined to agree.
I think only ones less than a load E are gonna be Pitbulls or Interco's. Pretty much any specialty off road tire. But get ready for 10k mile life spans
Eh, if nothing else I can weld um up. But my welder is the smallest locally on TW, so we gotta be careful not to melt the body bushing..
My usual average on ethanol free is ~15.2, but when I do more highway driving I get low to mid 17's.

I came up first on Fuelly for 2010 Frontiers! I'm assuming it sorts by latest update since I just filled up?

Thanks man, I'll hit you up if I ever chop that sucker. I'll probably end up picking up the premade CMC plates. This will be a long time from now anyway......whenever my wife gives me the go ahead.

That's what I get.. 95% of the time I have my ac on but always on low.. I don't have a heavy foot either. Last time I met up with Iven from the beach to Kaena he pulled away fast lol!

I need to save up for the extra 60hp and 54lbs of torque. Especially since the fuel economy is about the same...:D If I'm gonna get shitty fuel economy, mine as well get extra hp to boot!

That's being conservative...I got close to 140 hp more at the wheels. From just a little over 200 stock on a dyno to 340 at the wheels using same dyno. TRD
