Ok so here are some cheesy non truck related items I bought for the trip:
    1. $80 America the Beautiful Pass (allows free entrance to 99% of the parks and monuments we plan to visit)20140424_180225_zps3ktheamw_dfafc1a4743c4338d406febeb996291f117c2184.jpg

    2. USA Sticker Map (so we can keep up and show off all the states we visit:D)

    3. Epic USA Trip 2014 Shirts (which I dedigned and ordered online - super cheesy I know BUT my girls face when she saw them...priceless)

I've driven cross country 3 times. Stay away from the Great Plains. Unless you don't mind a boring drive for a couple of days. lol

OK...so I am finally getting around to posting the pics of my cross country EPIC USA TRIP 2014 I took June 1st thru June 30th, 2014. I had hoped to be able to post these pics up as I took them but loading videos and no internet access in remote areas and having too much fun didn't allow me to. I guess the old saying, "better late then never" will just hopefully apply here...hope yall enjoy!

Below are descriptions of the pics I have attached.

    PICS:
    1. JUNE 1ST...Loaded and Heading Out from Atlanta, GA
    2. Starting ODO reading: 35,283
    3. "Tabula Rasa" (Blank Slate)
    4. My awesome (hot) copilot ready to travel!

If anyone wants to take some guesses, here are 3 questions everyone seems to ask me concerning the trip. Answer will be posted in a few days after I post up all the pics of "Trashell" (my 2012 Taco)

    CLUES:
-The trip lasted exactly 30 days.
    -We started in Atlanta, GA
-We visited San Francisco, & Seattle.
-We saw Mt Rushmore & The Grand Canyon

    GUESS GAME QUESTIONS:::
    1. total miles traveled
    2. how many states we covered
    3. how many National Parks & Monuments we visited

This trip was amazing. The sites and experiences were so unique and diverse. I named the trip EPIC because it was a big deal to me BUT the word EPIC took on a whole new meaning as the trip progressed. I will try to post the pics in order as best as I can. I am only posting pics of Trashell (the Tacoma) as this is a Tacoma site but I will every so often include other pics which I find relevant or just plain cool.

    PIC DESCRIPTIONS:
    1. My lucky number is 13 for some long dumb reason. Here is Trashell parked on Lucky 13 parking spot in San Antonio TX
    2. Trashell posing near some cliffs in Carslbad Caverns National Park NM
    3. The magnificent view from Arches National Park UT
    4. Awesome formations in Capitol Reef National Park UT

Trashell (the Tacoma) rode so comfortably and flawlessly. I have heard complaints of comfort BUT my girl and I were super comfortable in her. We never slept in her or anything like that. We did some MINOR MINOR off road stuff and had no problems at all. I did an oil change right before I left, one while on the road, and one as soon as I got back. I changed the air filter and they did a full lube and inspection on the one on the road and all was fine. I avg 18MPG here in GA but was consistently getting 20/21MPG out on the road, and thats with her all loaded down. Would love to know why...FLAT...BETTER GAS...who knows? I do know I LOVE MY TRASHELL!!! :D
