I have that same desk minus the middle draw because my legs don't fit under the desk with it in . Ya I'm a tall bastard .

Morning everyone. I'm super excited, today is Jacobs 1st day of kindergarten.

 

thats a sharp desk, looks to be in good shape...for projects like that all I ever did was go over it with 0000# steel wool followed by a few cheese cloths and high end furniture polish. If I really feel froggy after the initial sanding and a single coat of polish I will repeat each step two more times with a nice coat with a final buff with the good old fashion cotton diapers.

I'm still using the student desk I built in shop class a decade ago. If I'd been thinking I'd have made it bigger in the first place. And maybe used something other than pine for the writing surface...
