Yeah these things are sweet!! Plugs right into your OBDll and gives you so much good info on your vehicle. If your speedometer is off because of bigger tires it will recalibrate and give you the correct milage/speed etc. I love mine.

 

i'm not super sure, but my understanding was that if your speedo is off because of the larger tires, the ultragauge will read off too, because i thought it read from the same sensors from the car? does your ultraguage actually read diff than speedo?

 

I got one for sale if anyone wants it. I didn't know it didn't do trans temp.

You have to calibrate it by driving exactly 2 or 3 miles etc(mile markers). Then it correctly displays the speed, mpg etc.

 

that's true, calibrating it will fix the mpg, and odo, but i didn't think speed, oh well, i'm prolly wrong, regardless, i like mine a lot, but they coulda used a lil color, this is prob a good alternative too

Yes it automatically does the speedo when you calibrate it. Not the speedo on your dash but the speedo in the UG. Theres a few steps involved in calibrating it but only takes about 5 minutes.

It came with a wiring harness and it has the relay, terminal spades, switch and everything all included. So i basically just have to hook up to battery/ground, hook up the two wires to the light and route the switch someplace under dash and its done. Plug and play. In the future I'll get the cool guy switch that fits into my dash but for now this will do. I'm still researching on Google on how to run the wires down inside the window pillar and stuff.
