Haha nice! I say your best bet is just letting it wear off like everyone else.. I'd be afraid of the thinner damaging the plastic..

How long has it been on there? If it's only a few hours, soak it in WD40 for an hour to soften it up and then see if it'll peel/scrub off.
If it's been more than a few hours....
Maybe goo gone and a shop rag?
