I am interested in the Tepui Autana RTT, just wondering if anyone has an experience with it. What you liked, disliked or would have done differently.

 

I ordered my rack from bamf, and buying a kukenam tepui for it as soon as jerry gives me the o.k. to order

 

I have the Autana, see 2 posts above ^^
I love it. The annex was a huge bonus, and I use it every trip. Autana is the perfect size for 2 adults, with room to spare. We used to let our pup (50 lb hound) Sleep upstairs with us, but now we keep her down in the annex to keep an eye on our daughter, who sleeps in a pack n play down below.

Love the size of the autana, and considering the weight and size when packed are nearly identical across the board, you're really not sacrificing anything by getting the bigger tent. (Except $ I guess...)

Anyways, Autana gets my vote. Hope it helps.

 

I think I'm taking the ole RTT out to Gulches next weekend if we end up staying the night.

I've been here you guys, just watching i love how the thread has been going.

 

Does everyone use a Sleeping bag or has anyone used any of these?

I've had limited success with beds like this - they have all leaked on me.

 

I wouldn't be using an airbed, just looking for a comforter that is made for camping. That kit actually doesn't come with an airbed though just the airbed bedding.

 

I 100% missed that aspect.

Eddy and I are trying to get ours mounted right now. Of course the cover is off of mine, it's half open and now its raining. AWESOME

 

Used the tent for the first time. It was only on the property that were building a house on but I still got to use it.

Got my replacement cover from CVT today...

 

Im so jealous of these awesome RTT's being posted. Ive got mine waiting and ready as soon as my Relentless bed bars show up.

 

So I called CVT yesterday and they gave me a rather vague delivery date on a Shasta... How long is the actual turn around?

 

Just realized my cover is different than the ones I've been seeing here. The rainfly opposite of the ladder side doesn't have the side flaps like the rest of the sides of the tent.
