I'll clean up my build thread when the truck goes into storage. Promise!

One of the reasons I initially wanted to stick with the 3RZ was size and weight. Even the 2JZ is pushing it.

I finished up the mounts for the fuel cell. No fancy straps or whatever. I just welded some plate with reinforced tabs to the metal container and welded some bolts to the bed with some bushing to help a little with shock/vibrations.

Bonus! I managed to maintain some bed space for extra crap!

    A whopping 6"x23" :anonymous:

Yeah, that's probably what it'll end up being used for is oils, etc. I have the whole xtra cab portion for tools/spare parts. I'm trying to think of a way to make the side windows more like access doors to make it easier to pull bags or parts out. Can't be that difficult.

Hmmm. Maybe a hung that allows the to fold up?

Or a dual hinge so they open like stock but come out further and then pivot all the way over. But I don't like that as it would be in the way of the door.

The problem with tools and equipment in the cab is... if you roll.......... BONK right on the head. I mean of course Unless you secure everything... I say you build rear doors and a wall behind you so it's basically a regular cab with xtra cab storage unit :D
