Need Help spending my $$$

So I am debating.... I have a Leer 180 on order for my truck, but could cancel if I choose... I was thinking of going with a bestop and leather interior instead. What would you pick? Painted to match leer 180 cap. or a Bestop and leather interior?

 

I have heard some pros and cons about the bestop, I need a place to put my dog, and stuff when I go camping and fishing. Only thing that bugs me a little about it, is the security of the stuff in it??? Including my dog.... The leather kit would be a custom order katzkin kit..

 

I'd go with the Leer 180. A hard cover obviously is more secure than a soft top. But then again, it doesn't take much for a theif with a pry bar and pry the hatch open. It'll make more noise when the hatch pops open and the glass breaking than a knife slicing through a soft cover. The noise might scare them off.
I had a hard cap on my 1s gen. for 12 years and it never got broken into. When I did have something back there and went shopping, I back the truck up against a wall or a pole to make it hard for them to steal it.

I'd go for the hard top...

 

I appreciate the security of the hard top, but if made to chose, I'd take the Bestop and leather. Those seat covers look great. . I've got wet okole covers which are nice, but I really like those leathers.

Absolutely go with the hard top.

 

i love the bestop...but if your concern is security go with the hardtop.....the bestop really only offers out of sight....but no actual security as opposed to the hardtop...the harder it is to steal....the less chance it will et stolen...unless you put a big ole flat panel back there and leave it...then your just asking for trouble haha

You didn't give this as an option, but I think the best combination for you would be the
hard top Leer Canopy and the leather interior. Save up and buy these

 

My dad had a LEER on his F150, we never had any problems with it, so thats where my vote is going.
