Nope I didn't touch my truck ended up cleaning house from top to bottom and then worked on cleaning out closets I don't know what made me think that was a good idea lol

 

Well at least you were productive. Just think now that you got that done more time to work on your truck. I ordered an ultra gauge with the group buy this morning. Hopefully that will help me get another mile or two per gallon.

 

I have thought about getting one but still undecided, I was just reading up on the sliding window security bar? I've never even thought about an issue with the sliding window...of course I didn't think someone would steal a tail gate either until I read about it on here so I did the tailgate theft mod.

 

Wow haven't read about those. Will have to check it out. I guess people will steal anything these days. I think I paid 63 or 64 dollars for the gauge including a mount and shipping.

Tailgate theft made the news again here.

 

The only reason I got it was to make me drive better I got an 80 mile commute. Figure if I can pick up a mile to the gallon it should pay for itself in a couple months. If it doesn't work out figure I could get close to maybe what I paid for it if I resell it.

Why are people stealing tailgates? Is there that much of a demand for them or people selling them for scrap metal?

 

Scrap metal and sometimes find them on Craigslist.
I did the hose clamp mod. More of my budget lately.

Vacation was great Kevin thanks for asking, and yes way too short. After tonight I'm thinking 3 weeks would have been better than 2.

 

There was a guy on the CL in greenville that had 4 to sell in all different colors, I was like what the heck and he was selling them for 500 each.
