;) I'll be posting the same when you talk about quail camp a little later this Fall. I'd sure like to do some of that style hunting again one of these years; such good memories. Gonna have to bust up a piggy bank or two eventually and plan a trip.

Think I will try your bacon wrapped corn with old bay seasoning today. Plan on grilling some salmon as well.

    Jim,
Have you ever heard of a Wirehaired Pointing Griffon? Caught them on one of the hunting shows recently; think they were hunting somewhere in the mountains northern Arizona, it was snow flurrying on them. Made me think they might be a good dog for hunting Ptarmigan and grouse up here. Since my bird hunting buddy moved down there to Tyndall AFB, I'm itching to get a bird dog.

Yes seen some of them down here. One was a bird finding machine. The others not so much.. Just have to make sure the people that have the pups are into hunting also. The one I really liked came out of Minn.. I might be able to get the kennel name for you if you want it.

If you can, that'd be cool. I'll put it on file. Probably looking at next Spring, but Minnesota would work well, as we usually fly into and out of Minneapolis when we go back to Iowa to visit my wife's family. Thanks WBO! I appreciate it. :)

Doing this right now. Hope it is as good as it looked. I used Old Bay for the seasoning.

If you are serious about getting a pup, a lot of the "good" breeders" have waiting lists. Might need to start looking now :notsure: When I was looking for Zoie, most of the breeders' litters were long since spoken for. Good luck.

    x2

Hope they can re-locate them and they will stay gone.

    Afternoon all:
Stupid contraption locked me out again! It did it on Aug. 16, got it fixed and 3 wks. later did it again. I think this is the 4'th time it did that. :smash:
Time for a new one, so I told the guy that fixes it to build one. Should be done sometime next wk. Hopefully it will be back to :typing: without any problems for awhile.

Girls are happy the thunderstorm is GONE!!! Annie was NOT happy for about 30 minutes - lots of thunder boomers. Got almost 2 1/4" of rain.

Hope you get your 'puter fixed boats

    Evening Sue:

The puter guy said he never saw the problem I'm having. He is a computer tech for a local business, and repairs and builds them for people on the side.
He thinks it may have overheated, and that's causing the problem ????
Hopefully a new one will solve the issue, this one is only 4 yrs. old and was supposed to be a pretty good one.

    Evening Carl...

My son is my 'puter guy. He knows what I do on it, and he built this one for me. Power supply went out and we got a new one and it's been fine since. "knock on wood" Hope your guy can get you fixed and up and running.

    evening Fred!!!

    Hi there Fred:
The cooling fan seems to be working. What he thinks happened, is that the radiator in front of the fan blocked up and may have caused it to overheat. The computer is liquid cooled.
