PS4 / Xbox One... Reviews in Progress

They used to do the same at ours too. A couple months ago they started a new deal on trades and it was a pretty good amount. I traded in Watchdogs on something (can't remember at the moment) and they gave me $42. I had it for about a month.

Before they started that I would just sell them on ebay.

 

Interesting. Wonder what they are doing vs here. I'd trade in games for that much. And I decided I'm going to midnight release, may be staying up all night playing. A redbull should get me through work nicely.

 

hopefully ya'lls midnight release will be fun.. usually they are great but the last one I went to was Titanfall... there was nothing going on haha.. But granted no one was super excited for it and it was the first real xbox one game to launch so meh.. Im debating finding a master chief collection release

 

I'm off Monday and Tuesday next week so I'll be at the midnight release. Still debating on calling in sick Wednesday. We had 12 runs and a fire yesterday so I doubt I'll get much playing time in at the station.

They said halo lan party, itll be the second midnight release ive been too. The first was d3 but i only showed up to pick up the game. Which i came to find out i needed a better pc to play it so then i built one.

I'm going to move my Playstation Monday into the pc room so it's close to the modem and i can sit closer to the tv.

Edit: decided to move the ps4 tonight so here's the setup. N64 on the left, pc, ps4 on the right.

Anyone else notice slow connection speed according to the ps4? It says i only have half my connection, even when i tried dmz. Pc gets full signal though

 

Is anyone on here interested in The Crew? It looks like a really neat game. I think I'm going to have to pick this up when it comes out. Here is a link to someone streaming it on twitch.

I have 1080p gaming monitor.. Id take a picture but my setup is crappy now that i have an "office" 3 broom house and we dont have enough stuff... Ive played in a love seat before, for me it sucks because i like to get into the game (if its an FPS) and lean forward into it... if that made any sense. Basically my posture goes to shit and I scream a lot... so when halo comes out the wife may want a divorce because I go hard

 

also IDK whos down but myself and a buddy are going to get down on titanfall tonight (around 8/9 pm eastern) ... should be fun if we get a whole fire team going... i can pm my number or vice versa

I've had a unreliable connection all day with the XBOX for some reason?? In fact I had to plug in a CAT 5 cable just to get it to update because it wouldn't go past 16% on wireless? Once I plugged it in it worked fine and after the update it worked perfectly. Dunno what the problem was?

Yeah it looks cool as shit. I've got a feeling that I'm gonna end up playing Destiny though for quite some time until the New Lord of the Rings comes out and I'll play that for a while too. Then Evolve and then..... The fuckin Division if it's released within the next 10 years.

Dude.... I'm the same way when I'm playing multiplayer. I talk so much shit it's funny (until my 9 year old daughter hears me).

im 100% the same way. i just prefer a couch style seating vs a chair even if i do lean forward.

the ps4 doesnt actually act slow, it runs and downloads everything fine without issue. it just seems that the estimated connection speed is way off or something.

Thing about Sams... When you find something you like you better pick it up because they will never get stock it again.
