    Just a bunch of old crap
    So I'm looking to put together a late September trip up on the Rim to finish off the summer season. Probably Knoll Lake again to my favorite spot on the point. The site could hold about 10-12 trucks with room to camp on nice flat ground. Walking distance to the lake in 3 different directions. Stocks could make it, except for the last 1000' which has some fun shelfs and drops but there are some new bypasses.

    Who's in? I'm thinking the weekend of the 25th (Friday through Sunday). I have a good map to share for anyone who would want to meet up later in the weekend than Friday. We always have a blast fishing and do a crawdad boil, big potluck dinner on Saturday night, and of course we burn about a cord of wood while we're up there.

    Great! As I get things confirmed, I'll keep you posted. It will be at least me, as I spent a few days camping solo up in this spot last month and had a blast. But, a group always makes it more fun. My other two camping/fishing partners feel that this is a good weekend to go though. My PTO is flexible and I can take off whenever I need. They have to request in advance. All are Taco guys, one with RTT and the other with full camper kit. They know what they're doing.

    I would be heading up there Friday morning from Phoenix, just FYI for your planning.

    Hey all! Oh man this thread excites me so damn much. Cant wait to be able to hit em trails and do campouts like this. I Live in Arizona, Glendale to be exact. I own a 2004 Subaru WRX currently and have been in the market for a Tacoma 4X4. Any of you know a good place in AZ to find a nice one at a good price? Not wanting to spend more than 20k or near.
