Just some FYI on the Coolant Tank of the 2014 Tacoma's they may have the potential to leak….How do I know this you ask mine is leaking pink fluid all down the fan shroud.

And I guess this has been such an issue that Toyota has a back order of these with no ETA….

I guess from what the Service Manager told me is that there was a bad mold from the vendor that is causing leaks at one of the joint seams…

Okay I wanted to post a couple of pics of the issue with the Coolant tank…….

It was kind of hard to get a picture of the exact spot but you can see just below and behind the Radiator hose there is a seam and right above that is where it is coming from at a injection mold point….

Yeah I thought I was going nuts myself but since this tank is not really under any pressure. I detailed the engine and looked into the cause a little better with it clean and found it.

But now Toyota has to get the parts in for the fix…

I just checked mine. There was a little bit of pink crud where the upper hose connects to the coolant tank. The level on a cold engine was half way between the marks. I will have to keep an eye on it.

Makes me wonder. Mine is a 2013, but I've been smelling antifreeze a lot lately when walking around my truck after its been running.

Probably some social media focal in the sales & marketing dept. Toyota likely uses problem reports only from dealers.

Wonder who makes the tank, Delphi or Denso...
