not really. mine kind looks like that, think it happens when you assemble the strut prior to installation, the spring settled and pushed the rubber around

I'm trying to fiure out why my front is sitting about 1.5" lower than everyone else with the same setup...? I'm at 21.5" and everyone else is at 23" So now I guess the best route to get it up is top spacer right?

Yup. It has the lean spacer and is still a smidgen lower than the passenger. Someone mentioned that I may have received the wrong spring cause my CVs barely have any angle to them.
I'm going to check the tag on the spring and see if they say anything. But if not I'll never know now. I guess if other guys with 884's are getting this height then I may have gotten the wrong springs in the mail and not noticed.

Well it's not the wrong springs...?

I just grabbed some OEM plugs to get it taken care of.. if you find a better plug alternative, $30 down the drain isn't a deal breaker for me.. but at least they will be swapped sooner than later.

not sure about everyone else, but I'm at 23" with 884s AND the 13mm top plate spacer. Without the spacer I was just over 2" lift and the 13mm adds between 3/4 - 7/8... supposedly. But yea either way, u would have thought the 885s are 10mm longer than the 884s out of the box..

In other news, I filled up last night, went to Pearl City and back home (hill), then to the Blaisdell and back home (with another minor stop in PC on the way home). Went to fill gas, and according to the math, got over 18mpg. Guess the (usual) usage of the truck only up and down the hill equates to the crappy 14 and under MPG. If i can get more freeway driving in, it's not that bad at all..

still, I'll sspray the MAF tomorrow and get to the plugs sooner than later.

I've had them for a few years.. I noticed a better throttle response, but I ahd them undergapped. And I swear they give more torque, but they have been showing some funny signs lately.. I went from regular to pulse, back to reg, back to pulse, back to reg, back to pulse, and now I'm on regular again. I liked the pulse plugs but damn are they expensive! I'll snap a pic of mine tomorrow so you guys can see what happening to them..

I saw them at the last convention and was impressed. I called locally and even checked Amazon for ones that will fit our trucks but, DAMN! $125 to $150 for a set of disposable plugs got me thinking twice.
Curious to see what's going on with yours.

Shit...Class 3 weapon...:( Not sure about all the laws in Hawaii... Need to research...

Edit: I'm SOL... Nate looks like only Law Enforcement officers can own these types of weapons. No wonder you want to become one...:D

    Who doesn't!
I think mine were about $100 for 6 plugs on Amazon a few years ago.
Main problem with the UMP in Hawaii is the barrel length. Closest thing you could legally find is a long barrel MP5 or something like that.

True...I'm getting the itch to get back into weapons again... I think eventually the world is gonna go to shit and I want to have a small arsenal just in case. I've owned plenty weapons prior to coming to Hawaii, but gave them all to my brother back in the Mainland since Hawaii isn't a place you can just drive 15 min outside the town and shoot'em up... I need a portable semi-auto w/hi capacity, shotgun, long range sniper and good hand gun to round it all out.
