Alright so I may be a little overkill when it comes to something like this. On the inside of my front wheel wells it looks like the plastic that is in front of the wheel has faded. It is the piece that has a few vertical groves in it. Well anyway, I was wondering if ya'll think I should go to something like WipeNew to maybe restore the platic color or paint it. Just wanted some opinions. I will try to get some pictures up next time I wash my truck.

    I have a 2011 btw.

You can try tire shine or I use Mothers "Back-to-Black" on the plastic to make it look black again.

Power steering fluid works well to restore plastic and rubber.

This. I personally use Mothers - Back To Black and it's good stuff.

I use Adam's Super VRT for plastic. Has SPF in it plus won't wash off in the rain.

I had the problem with the aerospace 303...put it on my mirrors and door handles and when it rained last night I came out to a white truck with odd colored streaks on it. Luckily there is an adams deal in my town, going to head there and get some of their plastic treatment.

I've had really good luck with VRT. Use it on the bed rails too.

Thans for the advice guys. I think I actually have some VRT at the house. I'll try it out tomorrow.

I've used a few different things to get the faded black plastic pieces to look new again and Wipe New is the best IMO. Everything else lasted about 15 minutes compared to Wipe New.
