I found a Dynomax stainless steel cat-back at Jeg's for $239. Dose anyone have one and how do you like it?

i have one on my 08 taco. i love it and wouldn't want any other exhaust. i also have the long tube headers on it and it is not that loud. if you want a loud exhaust, this is not for you. it is quiet at idle and gets louder when you hit the throttle.

Chris, you said you tested one did you measure any gains in power or mileage?

Bingo. It was a little more than 5 hp, but it was the highest hp muffler I tested. I didnt keep it as it was the second muffler I tested, and I thought for sure others would give more gain, They didnt. Being as I couldnt afford to buy a whole bunch of mufflers and test them. I would buy one, test it, sell it, then get another one. I still took a loss, but it was more easy to do this way for me.

Unless you get access to a dyno for cheap, I can see you taking a loss on that alone. I have been wanting to dyno mods from the beginning but its too expensive here.

The company I worked for leased land and building to a performance tuning shop, so I had access to a free dyno when it was open. :) I think I only had to pay for about 6 runs in my testing of things. I also ran each test 3 times to get consistant results, then averaged from the 3 runs.

Im thinking about changing my Gibson out for this exhaust system, But am not sure yet.
I just want something thats quieter and less raspy.

I got the Dynomax # 39447 SS Cat-back two days ago and I love it. I ended up getting it at http://www.wundercarparts.com/ for $236.95 with free shipping.
I have had a Gibson in the past and was considering the Magnaflow until I found the Dynomax. The qualiy is great and the sound is deep and throaty but not load at cruising speed. I believe it is an absolute steal and I would buy it again, I can't believe Magnaflow gets almost double the price for theirs.
