Just put a $500 deposit down on a 2013 DCSB 4x4 TRD Off-Road (nautical blue) with 28k miles at a dealer in Virginia for 27,991. Really pumped!! Got a flight up to grab it on Tuesday and what's going to be a fun drive home to New Orleans.

    Love the nautical blue!

as much as i dont like people buying a used tacoma for so close to the new price.... 2013's are IMO the best year of the 2012+'s as they have all the features (backup cam in mirror, auto dim mirror, temp sensor) that the 2014+'s lack.

These puppies are like 32k new before TTL... KBB and NADA were around 28500-29... Its not the deal of the century, but its a fair price.

Definitely! And as I customize it (BFG ATs, eibachs w/ 5100s, tint, weather tecs).

Oh, its has a tonneau that I don't want if anyone's interested. I'll post it in the Buy/Sell forum when I get it.

A co-worker of mine just got 32,000 for his 2013 with about 13,000 miles on it,
over 7,000 more than he owed.
It was a dcsb sport 4X4. I couldn't believe it. He used it towards a used Tundra.

I am not understanding how these truck are holding their value so WELL!
Although I have no intentions to sell, do we think the '14s will be as good seeing there's a redesign on the way?

Our Tacomas were pretty much exactly the same except for color and transmission, and obviously his rear view mirror way better than mine...

Congrats! Driving in NOLA is much more bearable in a truck. The roads are a joke.

Ourisman... Nice folks. Their going to pick me up from the airport. The trucks Carfax shows service every 5k at the same place too. Thing has basically lived there.

Not sure, but I'll PM you when I get it.

Amen to that, never owned a car. Girl drives a Camry, and I can't stand driving it anywhere but the highway. I can't drive anything I have to be that careful of bumps and curbs...

Love Virgina/NC area! I drive from NO to Maine all the time and Roanoke is my halfway point where I ditch for some zzzz. There's a good Motel 6 there free Wi-Fi. Best drive in the world is Skyline through the Shenandoah, wouldn't mind living there.

Pretty far north from here, thought it be closer to this region as I've seen more than I can count now ever since I bought mine brand new last month haha.

Have a safe trip down, and enjoy the scenery.

I dealt with Ourisman before, and that was probably the last time. I bought a 2011 Honda Civic SI sedan in white, drove 3 hours to get it. Specifically asked if it had been smoke in, and was told no. Guess what? They covered the smell up, coffee grinds in the seat, etc. I bought it, as I was looking for that car, and I never could get the smell out. Plus they gave me a CRV rear cargo mat, and they owed me a key that never appeared.

I hope you have good luck, but make sure to have a checklist with you.

Good to know. I hate all dealerships, the guy kind of pissed me off telling me he'd throw in floor matts and a tank of gas... I do need to make sure it has both keys, though.

The pictures show what I need to know, clean as a whistle. And the service records, age, and mileage make it unlikely to have any mechanical problems. That said, if it's a dog in a dress, I'll have to walk away...

Why buy something if you're not satisfied with it?
Hopefully at the very least you got an overly exaggerated discount.

Nice truck, I've got mine in April 2009 for $27.200 new, double cab long bed 4x4. I remember test driving it, was a Friday afternoon and the young salesman asked me: mister are you gone buy it? What's that to you I asked? Today was our pay day and
the boss told us we are to be paid Monday. I'll see I said. I droved back and told the big guy: I'll buy it if you throw in a towing package. No problem, he said.
Four years later and you pay for a used one more. The times has changed.

Because it was the car I wanted and I found two. One in Maryland and one in Arkansas. Didn't feel like driving back to the morherland(I am originally from Arkansas), so I decided I could live with the car as it was in awesome condition besides the smoke smell.
