it holds up really well just like a cars paint job.
not sure I would do a bumper tho.
pattern prices are around $40 for 1 meter by 3meters.
I will be around all next weekend because I am on shift and in the command rig so I have to stay in my area.

these are the patterns I have or can get within 3-4 days

Maybe I'll just powdercoat the bumper, guys only charging $50 anyhow

I'd like to see your setup though, ideally doing interior pieces to match the exterior would be cool. If you have anything to dip maybe save it so I can watch next weekend?

My buddy in Edmonds just got his tank built to do hydro dipping. I was checking it out when picking up my newly painted 4runner. It's a cool process and holds up well because they clear the parts after the transfer process.

Has there been any confirmation on a mod day? I am about to order my 4.10 front/rear gears and will need help swapping them out.

Are you ordering complete diffs? Or are you going to setup the gears/bearings yourself?

I am just planning on ordering complete diffs. It's $1,300 for front/rear (not including core charges).

I'll be in San Diego all this coming weekend, but I can host the weekend after. Preferably that Friday or Sunday.

I already posted this in the winch thread but I thought I would get your opinions as well.

I bought an offset one for my set up.... but I'm not sure if modifying it like you suggested will actually hurt anything

I didn't know I needed one that was offset. I could try to sell this one but there is no returning it. I don't really feel like paying the price for an offset either.

I just don't know which route I should go with; cut the bumper down or drill/tap holes to mount the the fairlead higher up.

I think drilling new holes so it covers the gape above/ behind it, shouldn't mess with any structural integrity either and would probably be easier.

Look into the slee offroad thing David put up, and if not that, drill and tap.

Why don't you use roller? I particularly like Benson's black delrin.
