Retrofit for headlights or just to get it in? Because if your pairing that grill with a headlight retrofit projectors then I REALLY need to see it :)

Camelback toyota parts. They sent me an email saying the shipment (which included other stuff) would be late because they needed to order some unavailable parts. The paranoid parts of me is like "oh well they must have ordered it from ebay and bundled it with my order" which is just absurd, lol. The labeling on the bag has my name printed onto it. So I'm probably fine. Mine look like yours.

Every time mine has turned on it was for the worst haha

I've almost hit people in a roundabout and nearly gone off a hill on the other side of a dirt road...

Just pull the lines and replace ASAP and do a thorough job bleeding all the air out when you're done.

IIRC you need to buy the lines from a non-ABS truck and run those instead. Please correct me if I'm wrong!

    ^ That's what I did.
Bought the factory hardlines from a non-ABS truck and ripped all the old shit out.

with the new kit i have i had to unplug the wires from the harness that was upfront since the spindle is off a later model tacoma without the abs port on the spindle so i removed it.

should i just leave the abs module or switch all the hardlines?

Doesn't matter. I ran my truck with no ABS but still had the controller and lines in place for over a year.
I just recently ditched the controller because I cut my hand on the bracket and it pissed me off so I wanted to show it who was boss.

I would say you are fine. I've ordered numerous parts from Camelback and never seen anything out of the ordinary. As they are a dealer, they would be royally screwed if they were caught doing something like you outline.

Toyota works on the Just In Time (JIT) inventory principal. The dealerships keep minimum parts on hand for commonly needed parts and order up what they need beyond that from the parts distributor, to be delivered within a day or two. If you have a dealership do a non-emergency specialty job, they typically like doing a quote first and then scheduling the job so they can make sure all parts are on hand.
