Flickr is being a little bitch. I keep getting a message when BBCode is selected. It says sharing is not authorized for this photo. It started intermittently yesterday on a couple of photos. Now it is doing it on all of them.

Anyone else seen this behavior?

 

Ugh, that's the most annoying thing for me. I had that happen a while ago. I have to refresh each photo if I click the next button. If I select a photo from the album and open it that way, it's fine, but if I click the next photo button to open a photo it fails.

 

Yes, this is it exactly. Annoying as hell. Did it stop doing it without you doing anything else?

 

As long as I open the photo from the album page or I refresh the photo if it doesn't work, it'll work. I haven't figured out any other option. I should probably send a notification or something like that in to Flickr to get it on their radar...

 

This sucks...

 

Seriously. Makes it take so much more time reloading pages.

Huh, its odd. Are you putting your photos in albums and then working with them from those albums? Or are you linking to them from your photostream when you upload to tw?

I had not considered the possibility that the browser may be contributing. I've been using firefox. I will try chrome on the next batch to see if anything changes.

I've never tried uploading directly to an album. Maybe I'll give that a try if switching browsers doesn't help.

 

I've been using chrome and still have the problem. I've also been uploading straight to albums and having the problem, but I usually get to the photos through the albums rather than from the stream, so I'll try that.

Edit: Huh, seems to all be working just fine for me now. Any way I access them.

 

When I tried doing it directly from the stream it worked correctly. The trouble with the stream is, the photos are rarely in the order in which I want to attach to tw. This means returning to the stream to find the next photo.

Glad to hear its working for you now. I wonder why.

 

I've had that happen mike a few times. But I never have to select bb code each time. It just stays selected. But usually I never have the issue if it totally not letting me.

 

Yea me too. Sometimes it'll say sharing restricted then it changes right there.
