This storm is so awesome we lost power for a bit and I have been sitting in my living room just watching the lightning it's so cool

 

Nice, I've got my window open just listening to it.

Maybe I'm crazy but I love camping in this kind of weather. As long as the tent doesn't leak or blew under the tarp into my hammock !

 

Rain storm or god dam hurricane?

 

I have a feeling my drive is gonna be fucked tomorrow morning on the freeway

 

Yeah camping in this stuff is definitely interesting I remember when I was in the Boy Scouts we were up at the camp on the rim and there was a storm like this that caused a flash flood and we had to pretty much run in the middle of the night to the highest camp up it sucked. But it was definitely interesting to watch and be in.

Hahahaha seek shelter now. I'm still good over hear and don't have to seek shelter yet

 

im at McKellips and stapley and we must of gotten two inches of rain in 30 min , this is so nice

From the other day. This is fairly normal for us

 

Stay away from the 60 its flooded over 1ft at Val Vista. This also means the 202 will be busy

 

Every freeway has some closure at one point of another.

I have already called in that I will be a few hours late or not at all. I have to use four freeways to get there.

We need this rain, but I feel for those being flooded.

 

Watching the news and Chandler Hs has gotten 4.76 inches of rain so far.

 

This is why having a truck is awesome

 

I can verify that. The pool is overflowing so were are draining it currently because water was coming on the patio

 

Traffic reports were showing red on 17/10/101 on the west side all over my 2 primary options when I woke up just before 5. So I said f-that, I'm "working" from home.

But I screwed up my super-short commute and left the laptop bag in the car and had to retrieve it this morning.

 

All I gotta say is, finally we're getting a worthy monsoon storm
