    Yep. It beat the state record... We didnt know till we got back to the house about three hours later and it was shark food. I think it was 24.5lbs on 12lb test. My girlfrient caught it on a shimano 2500 stradic.

    24 inch Brown that I caught using a mouse fly late at night. Fly fishing at nite with mouse patterns is a fantastic way to catch big fish. Crappy cell pic!

    NIght fish in waters that have big browns, the biggest of browns will only come out at night. Never let your light hit the water, it WILL spook them. Be a good caster in the daytime, cause at night its all by feel. Use large tippets, your gonna need them!

    Streamers work good too but a topwater mouse pattern getting crushed by a huge brown on the surface makes a huge splash followed by an exciting hookup.....or miss. It can sound like a small child jumping into the water, and will make your heart jump out of your chest!

    Sick!! I was just down in SC and wanted to get out in the salt flats but never got around to it. Going back in the spring so have to hit it then!

    Alright man, I know the thread is show off your fish but come on!! Haha those are some insane browns and I'm very jealous...
    I tore my MCL so I haven't been able to get in the river yet.
    Now I'm dying to get out there at night!!

    Haha. Those are me and my buddies from the white river this last weekend. Almost home now...an hour left...10 hours already in our rear view mirror. That's the only sucky part about goin to fish the white.
