I have to agree bud No steps.....these trucks aren't tall to even really ever need them. Even with a lift....no need for them.

It is your truck though. You like them...keep them

90% of people on here hate my truck but I don't care. I'll keep it like I want it. my .02Cents

That's badass, but I bet those oblong wheels make for a quite a disconcerting ride. [IMG]

Well they serve two purposes... assholes door dinging me will screw their own shit up on the tubes before it hits my doors, and the girl doesn't need a ladder to get in... i'll see how they hold up, and if I get sick of them they'll disappear.

As far as your truck. I dig it. the wheels, the headlights... I need to get around to cracking open my headlights and doing SOMETHING with em. Plus Oregons my alma mater. jealous your still in the euge

I like our trucks without them, but if you are going to lift your truck, step bars might be helpful. If you are going to keep them, have them sprayed. Get a do it yourself kit from raptor liner and save some cash. Either way, the chrome's gotta go.

6" inch lift and no step bar? How tall are you?

The door dings.....OH THE FUCKIN DOOR DINGS :mad::mad::mad::mad:

Don't get me started with that....I hear ya man...keep them! Paint them to match the truck or something to make it different. It's your truck bud....do whatever you want:D:D:D

They just look shiny because they also got some wax

Besides the lights, theres not a lick of chrome on it. It was one of the first things to go

After my buddy followed me to the Duck game Saturday and told me my taillights aren't bright enough, I ordered these (cree leds) while tailgating. Mailman just dropped them off. They make a world of difference. Shit ton more light.

Also made another light up whip (last Friday) for tailgating Saturday. Has remote that changes functions, color, make your own color, blah blah. I had it at White to go with the green Saturday night.

My last truck was a Chevy Colorado with a total of 9" of lift and 35" tires with no steps. I am only 5' 10". I had to hop a little to get it but it still didn't seem that tall.

Where did you get it and how much?

I am planning on wrapping my CB antenna with LEDs. Did you heat shrink them? If so what size did you use?

Did you use the 3/4" or 1" heat shrink? I heard to use 1" but I feel like that wouldn't shrink enough.

    A few things
I'll let you know on output (bright as F@$% in daytime) after tonight. Seems to be built really well and feels heavy duty though. Not flimsy by any means. It also has CREE led's and thats what i was mainly looking for when i got mine. There are some cheaper 50" curved bars out there but not with CREE's.

Wow I am suprised its not cheaper on ebay. You should look into Platt Electric. They stock 3M 4' heatshrink; 3/4" for $6.50 and 1" for $9. I am not sure what part of Oregon your in but they have a few down there.
