Ok so i'm seeing 3 campgrounds on the map for Hungry Valley...I've never been there but someone with more experience should chime in and give some info about them...I have aliklik campground, smith forks campground, and lower scrub oak campground...I couldn't really find good info on them. Are they free? We prob don't need a reservation, but DO we?

Anybody else have a SUP...Nick you have a kayak. Pyramid lake is next door plus the coast is like 70 miles away if we get crazy and want to get in the water. What do you think?

I also found one more campground on the map (Kings Campground) it's on the far western side of Hungry Valley, may be out of bounds and on a forest route 8N01A off Gold Hill Rd.

Camping is $10 per night per vehicle I believe. All those camp grounds are huge, they fit dozens of RV's each. I prefer the one a little north of Aliklik, I think it's smith forks. It's far enough away from the 4x4 course to where you can get some peace when you want it, but just a short 20 second drive over to it. Also it's near the ATV course where people often like to drive RC cars if it's empty. Also it's near bathrooms.

So Fellas this is the teacher/dad in me but there are no grocery stores so ya'll gotta pack in your food. The closest town (Frazier Park) has mini marts and gas stations but you ain't gonna find no Albertson's close by so bring lots of food/beer/drinks/etc. Not sure if anyone plans on bringing a stove to cook on but I have a camp stove and I have a lantern which is nice for night time shenanigans.
