    cut using tin snips, metal cutters
    cuts very easy with these

    take the piece you just cut, mark the rounded corners, and cut those as well

    up in western new york, the winter salt will do much worse.
    so wanted to keep them on.

    I would def agree with that then. All in all man it does look good. Plus, if you ever did decide to take them off, at least your truck is black to cover it.

    Just went the through winter here, Im glad i kept them on

    With trimming them i have not had any problems with them scraping anything
    i go over. Have been working out great so far.

    Look even better with the bigger tires

    thanks for the write up mike, this method was super easy and fast. took 3 inches off the the front and rear

    comparison..left side trimmed, right side stock.

    I was stationed in guam for 3 years. Got my first toyota pick-up there.
    Buried it at tank farm, had to be towed home that day- hahaha
    We loved our time there, really miss diving. Hope to visit again in the future.

    Just purchased my second "2nd gen" tacoma last week. For this very reason, I removed the front mud flaps while at the dealership before I put one mile on it .:D
