    Private party? yes.

It is a full size S&W M&P .40. I like it. And yes, private party I can purchase a handgun at 18. I can't conceal carry it on FL till 21, but I can have it ready to go in the truck. Also, if I am legally hunting, fishing, or camping, or traveling to or from said activity, I can open carry it.

I want a Glock now. As an academy student, I can get any firearm at dealer cost. I didn't know that till today. Otherwise I would have had one of my classmates purchase a brand new Glock lol

I wouldn't open carry til 21 anyway in certain areas unless you want to catch heat from the police. Just don't do anything crazy or carry unnecessarily

They can stop you, but Fl statute 790.25 states that it is legal if legally hunting, fishing, or camping, or traveling to or from said activity.

I wouldn't open carry at all. It makes you a target. I only open carry my pocket knife because so do most manual labor working males...and no one cares.

I'd open carry. If you've got a group of people in a store open carrying, would you rob it? Even one person. Robbers are looking for quick easy money, they don't wanna meet resistance

But when they don't see it at first and all the sudden you're the first threat to them....you're in a bad spot.
