First I know nothing about LT. I'm not trying to poke the bear, but what makes this a race kit? What's the difference between a race kit and a non race kit? Are there teams running this kit?

If I'm not mistaken, a LT kit consists of upgraded UCAs and LCAs, leaving the stock spindle in place as a weak link. Gusseting helps but still a weak point if really driven hard. while a "race" kit has fully fabb'd UCAs, LCAs, and a fully boxed spindle as well.

    Correct me if I'm wrong

Holy shit he was referencing my jumps. haha

By stock, I'm guessing he was referring to stock length arms vs an LT kit. I am running LR UCA's up front.

In this vid I am running 5100's front and rear with the stock TSB leaf pack.
    http://youtu.be/lkQRwyeKQyo

In this one I now have ORI's up front (that I am still fine tuning the valving on...) and my DMZ kit in the rear.

    http://youtu.be/tht5zF5D2b8

Handles the whoops decently though. Need to adjust the valving for larger ones though. I'm eating up my travel too quickly.
    http://youtu.be/YUg-hijpA3s

With all that though, my jumps are not nearly as high as DTF's. And even being smaller jumps my landings aren't nearly as soft as DTF's big jumps. My big jumps tend to hurt a little. I've had some landings that make my visors drop, my mirror drop, turn my wipers on, hell last time out I had a big one that popped my stereo out of my dash a little. I don't recommend jumping on stock shit. The difference between landing and landing smoothly are astounding! It's an awesome feeling to land jumps smoothly and I guarantee his kit walks all over any MT kit and most if not all LT kit out there for 2nd gens.

So with your 6" over kit, are the arms 6" longer than the stock arms or does that 6" count any extra spindle width? I know that Solo's 19" travel kit has the arms listed as 4.5" over, but with the spindle it's 5-6" wider per side than a stock Tacoma. Basically how wide is your whole kit?

    for the 4wd version:D

Canadians make me want to log off TW forever. They must have just got our Dukes of Hazzard re-runs and figured they are now suspension experts. Well designed suspension systems available for our truck are designed so you can go fast over rough terrain. Sure, they will soak up some hard hucks, but at the end of the day it's about hauling the mail across the desert as fast as our little motors will push us. :p

ATO front skid (need more but icon's might fail if I hang anything else from my truck) All-Pro front bumper thanks to a good deal here and a pesky encounter with a rock or 20, total chaos uppers.
Next time your down in the So Cal area I'll try to catch up with you guys and get a few shots! Still working on my video editing skills (well past I movie ay least). Cant wait for a 4x4 kit! my MT front just doesn't keep up with the DMZ kit, not even a little... Killer fab work and id say its a proven kit.

    How dare you.

The 4wd dtf kit...would be....so rad. I'd love to try crawling with that. Don't mind the other Canadian. People from Edmonton are like that. We call it Edmonton arrogance.
