I just set the front bar that is usually used for the wind fairing forward and bolted the light bar mount through it.

lol my last one was the full size. but was way bigger than I needed.

I found the pics Alex. I like the way you did that and I will be running mine the same way...Wonder how a radius bar would fit like that??? hmmmmm

No vibes, but you'll have to figure out whats a good gap between the roof and light bar to prevent noise. I was going to switch to a radius bar, but would have to come up with some custom brackets. And I kinda like how the 40 sits into the rack, kind of tucked away.

Thanks for the info Alex...Ordering it up now with Zach...I love the radius bars with the roof line but I agree yours does look good up there. I will fool around with the rack before I order the light bar to work out my options.

Cool, looking forward to see what you come up with. I want to change my mounting setup to be more permanent. Already had 1 light bar stolen.

Yeah I worry about that too but I park mine inside every night and am looking into some security bolts and the like for a light bar that big.

Okledlightbars sell some, but they're sold all over. Just keep in mind I've seen pictures where someone cut the entire mount right off. So at this point I just take the light bar off and put it on before trips/events.

Little Status update on the truck, got a vision of what I want to do with the truck and slowly working it out.

    Recent things:

    -Replaced Both Outer Tie Rods
    -Replaced Pass. Inner Tie Rod
-Replaced Both LBJ's with AC Delco's
-Replaced Passenger Axle ( was still on OEM axle prior )
-Replaced Driver Axle ( second one )
-Got Alignment done at George Oren Tires ( 6 month Warranty )
    -Got the SR8's mounted up
    -Selling my Stealth 6's

As the truck ages I am doing more maintenance stuff now.

    Needs:
-Front Brakes ( my EBC stage 5 kit is almost done, might go with the same kit )
-Mid & Xfer Skids Both are Bent and don't fit very well any more
-Paint, the clear coat is flaking off my roof and top of the cab.
-Frame needs some TLC, the few years of wheeling, and getting banged up has gotten some surface rust around various areas. Need to sand it down and rattle can it over.

    Future Plans:
    -Front LT kit ( still can't decide if +2 or +3.5 )
    -Front Coil for LT
    -Secondary Shock Hoop
    -Engine Brace
    -Dual battery setup
    -Power Steering Rack
    -Upgrade Alternator & Wiring
    -New Winch w/Synthetic Line
-Some Type Of bed Storage ( Drawer system or similar )
-TX Pro Rubber Flooring ( instead of carpet )

Lots to do, my goal is to have a truck capable off road and be able to go out and explore while bringing some of the amenities that make life a bit easier. hope you all following along as it makes it progression.
