Mine fits in my back pocket even with a case on it. I don't have a problem with one-handing it either. I can reach just about every part of the screen with my thumb if I need to. I usually use two, but I did with the smaller phone as well. Someone with smaller hands would have problems reaching across. As for whether or not a potential user has a mini, most people who use them don't carry them around all the time like they would a phone. I can still see a purpose for it even if one did have an iPad.

I like it for navigating as well. It's easy to see from a distance.

I dont. I am no where near well versed in this stuff as some of you guys. I do have limited knowledge of how wireless charging works.

Wouldnt it be like standing next to a running microwave without a door on it?

IDK, its off topic. Back to the original thread.

Induction, as electricity moves through a wire it develops a electromagnetic field around the wire. Place another wire in close proximity and move it through the electromagnetic field and an electric current is generated. A electric transformer works on this principle. Place a coil of insulated wire next to another coil if insulated wire and introduce an AC current into one coil and you'll induce current into the adjacent coil. Depending on the windings in either the primary or secondary coil you can either step up the voltage and lower the current or you can step down the voltage and raise the current.

My guess is you have a small coil of wire in the charger and inside the watch. As you set the watch down onto the charger the small AC current running through the charger induces a small current into the coil in the watch which charges the watch. No more harmful than your standard wall charger.

As for microwave ovens, those work off of really high radio waves (super high).

Because... some of us back everything on the phone up onto a computer. i also don’t store more than 300 or so songs on my phone, so i change them around. i have an ipod classic/video that all my music/podcasts and other stuff is on that i don’t want on my phone. it is very very easy to back up my iphone to my macbook pro. photo’s,videos, contacts, nots, calendars and everything els.
I’m like you i don’t WANT a pone thats really big and can’t fit in my pocket or use with one hand. ipads are cool but no need for one.

With Android, you load up your songs into google music. You have access to all songs via Wifi or 4g... If you don't want to use 4g, you pin albums or songs to your phone, then they are available without data connection. I would be surprised if Apple doesn't have something similar.

By logging into your gmail account, everything on your phone is backed up automatically (unless you tell it not to).

Water resistant. So you can wear it in the rain or washing your car but not swimming.

I just love how my iphone works... it sends texts it makes calls it plays my music (and my music syncs perfectly if im connecting to my computer or spotify) it plays movies, it looks good... everything has a dedicated app that WORKS. Also most things are designed for the iphone, apps, cases... androids are cool (I had the droid x 2+ years ago) it did the same stuff but it would restart, the music played but had some weird player.. It was easy to put music on it, it opens just like a flash drive or external, but it wasnt fluid enough for me.. There are just a few things that I think the iphone does better and I really cant wait for the 6 lots of cool things

Then 5s will likely be my next phone. I still hate that it's larger than my 4s but not much I can do about that. I know it takes Apple forever to bring the same features as most Samsungs but I really enjoy the simplicity of the iOS platform. Again who knows when I will actually need to get a new phone as I plan on keeping my 4s for at least 6+ more months.

The iPhone 5, 5c and 5s are 4g LTE on Verizon unless you don't have LTE in your area. Then it will default to 3g. But that would be the case with any LTE phone.

My Samsung Note 1 sucked. So much bloatware on Samsungs. I switched to a Nexus 5 for pure Android experience and love it. After a year of owning it, it's still as fast as day 1.
