The service manager or the general manager? If it wasn't the GM call and talk to him. Tell them the truck had the problem awhile ago while still under warranty and his shitty techs couldn't finish the problem and if they don't cover it you and anyone you know who take their cars there will never come back and you'll also tear them a new one on their survey.

They called back yesterday and I asked to speak to his manager and he said that it was him, so I would assume service manager?

We will write them a terrible review and send a letter to ford. I'll call tomorrow and see if the GM is in and talk to him.. My friends dad is best friends with the owner of Brien Ford so I may also see if I can talk to him.

We love the truck and has never given us any problems except for this minor one, which may be turning into a big one. Only reason we bought a ford is because we needed a diesel to tow the boat and haul the camper.

GM all the way. (besides my Toy)

Hasn't given you any problems YET. Now that the warranty is up the wheels are going to fall off (or explode) lol

    haha lets hope not..

Main reason we didn't go with GM is because my mom has had many suburbans, and they all start falling apart after 100k miles, like they are designed to do it. Also because the steering wheel is 3/4" off to one side and not centered in the middle of the seat. And they wanted almost $8,000 more for a truck that had less than the ford did and less of a warranty.

If you took it in while under warranty and had the issue documented, you should be covered. Should is the key word...

SHOULD be.. Im going to call another local dealer, tell them the story and see if they would possibly cover it. Honestly if Brien ford won't cover me and hasn't fixed the problem yet Ill take it to the other dealer and pay for them to do it.

It only takes 1 shitty service to lose a customer for life. Many a merchant have lost my patronage... You might contact a contracts lawyer, too.

I could but not sure if that would cost more than it would to fix the problem. Im going to tell them that I will write a bad review on service, tell everyone to NOT go to Brien Ford in Everett, and give my business to another place. And tell them we were going to look at buying a new commuter car for my dad there but not anymore

Dont forget to mention the survey. A lot of dealership employees live and die by surveys.

Last ditch resort on the lawyer thing... You might try Ford's corporate offices, too.

I'd mention that as well too, tell them they won't only be losing your business, but everyone you knows business and that you're a member on several internet discussion forum comprised of 100's of members in the Washington area that will be warned of there service

Usually going to the general manager or even the owner of that dealership will make shit happen. I work at a dealership.

Before calling in the cavalry, try giving a call to corporate. I know that Toyota is typically set up where corporate receives the issue and delegates the work to a dealership, while going to the dealership directly sometimes turns into a dead end. Ford may be the same.

If you have documentation of being turned down for service, that will go a long way.

You will also be turned down based on stereotype. Age, gender, looks, and so on. That's harder to fight.
