I have three best friends, one is my brother. He was my best man. Are you going to have other groomsmen? If not I would lean towards 2 best men. But you still kinda have to choose one, cause they cant both stand right next to you at the alter.

 

X2 on 2 best men. I like tradition, but its your wedding, your special day with your future wife. And really its all about you 2 anyway. No feelings should get hurt. Anyway, being your day, I say do what ever you want. Meaning, you don't have to follow tradition. If you want 2 best men, go for it.

I'm on marriage number 2. My 1st wedding, I had 2 best men. Cause I have 2 best friends. My 2nd wedding was completely different, and we really didn't have a bridal party. We had our parents stand up with us.

Don't let anyone dictate how you should do things. Remember, this day is to celebrate you 2. And you can do things however you choose.

I am going to have 3 total. My brother, my best friend and her brother.

If I have to have pick one on paper, I would probably pick my best friend on paper. The fiance and I already decided who would walk with who down the aisle. It's just frustrating because if my brother doesn't get picked, he and some family members would get butt hurt.

That was the part that pissed me off the most about getting married. People forget that it has nothing to do with them and everything to do with you. My wife's cousin's ex-wife showed up half way through and acted like she was supposed to be there. We barely even know her, but she had to insert herself. Kinda wish we eloped with just immediate family and closest friends.

Whatever happens, don't let the bullshit get to you or your wife. Make it your day even if others seem intent on getting in the way. And your groomsmen should be prepared to discreetly remove anyone that you need.

My brother was mine, I think that's the best way to go. I'm closer with my friend, but there's something to be said about blood. Plus, at the end of the day, it doesn't really matter.
