    Opening day of archery season. The elk where within a hundred yards of being on our property until some asshat road hunter in a rzr parked himself on the road between the elk and our property. Fawking ridiculous. Managed to get within range of them in some woods on a neighbor's property, but it was to think to even think about taking a shot. Oh well, have a month to seal the deal.

    This guy almost got me as I was creeping up on a prairie dog town.

    He didn't strike, just rattled so I let him live. Kept on my way and got a bunch of these guys. I'm shooting my .22 here.

    Can't wait for pheasant season here in ND. Dove, grouse, partridge starts any day now.

    Ya when they found him he also had a 6 foot fence post in his antlers, they had to take that out to get it out of the woods. Most likely the bul died from exhaustion.
