    HP isnt cheap. Look into some headers and exhaust, theyll give you a little bit more power but besides the supercharger theres not really much you can do for these trucks.

    The supercharger is out of my budget atm lol. I've been using 93 octane since I bought the truck brand new and a few mention about reprograming the ECU to gain more HP. I guess it doesn't really matter after speaking to injection connection.

    Octane != horsepower. All higher octane does is prevent detonation. The Injection Connection folks are doing you a favor.

    Intakes offer a fractional HP increase, at the very top end of the power band. Mostly what they offer is intake noise, which is enough for many people.

    Headers can increase HP at the top end too, but be careful to get the right ones; I've been seeing headers tuned for low end torque and headers tuned for high end power.

    Even with these bolt-ons you are probably talking 5% increase in peak HP. You honestly may not even feel it. PantherTaco has it right - forced induction is the way to get a power increase you will actually notice.

    I come from a Subaru background so I've been around a lot of boosted engines - and I've seen the results of boosting an engine that wasn't strong enough. :eek: So I was very surprised to learn that Toyota actually offers a kit to add a supercharger to these engines. It must have pretty sturdy internals for them to feel safe doing that.

    Dude, Throttle Body spacer, instant 50hp, and you can tell by the whistle. Seriously, hp, without the super or turbo charger, you will spend $1k+ and not top 20 more hp. Sure you can add headers, intake, cat back, resonator deletes, 93octane, and add a tune, and have a bad ass sounding truck, but will only gain so much hp. Fo

    Western PA hosted the French and Indian War before Eastern PA hosted the American Revolution, followed by the American Civil War pivoting in Central Pa. We've been a pretty busy state over the years. Most of the froggies relocated to the people's republic of Ohio.

    Yeah, PA is only twice the size of France, so it takes a while, but it's only 1-1/2 to 2 hrs for the Pittsburgh crowd. Damn beautiful country up there, and the fishing is exceptional.
